My mother Anna-Liisa passed away in June 2019. She was a wonderful lady and I want to preserve her memory by doing something that makes a difference.
Mom loved animals and nature, especially cats and flowers. We took in a number of strays over the years and always fed those kitties just passing through. Beautiful flowers were always blooming in our home and yard.
My goal is to build an open door cat sanctuary for all the homeless and feral cats in Altoona, Pennsylvania and our neighboring communities. They deserve a safe, caring place to live out their lives.
It’s a big dream but one I am committed to. Read about my vision and stay tuned for more news in the months ahead.
